Obama clinches Democratic Nomination

Obama clinches the Democratic Nom. Yet Clinton doesn't concede. Does this bode well for the party? Is she just a sore loser or setting up a bid for the VP? Should Obama even consider giving her a position?

Well put, at the end of the day, we see a feasible opportunity for Obama to gain a lot of support for the presidential election!. Although, having being an Obama supporter throughout the primaries, ... I never ever saw him winning the Presidentials. Now, looking at the way you put it, maybe having the Hillary Clinton vote!, is actually a good idea, even though Hillary might have Bill as "A PERSONAL IN-HOUSE ADVISER", it all seems to point ... to a certain reality. All-in-All, like I've always said, the African American Community should devote their resources towards Obama, JUST to see how much their VOTE counts in the U.S .... The rest of the African Community has always looked up to the Community in the States. This is the best time to see exactly how Powerful that African Community IS. Remember, it won't be long before Black Americans lose their STATUS as the next biggest "ethnic group", to the HISPANICS ........ Thats not being racist ......... thats being real, if their ever was a time to stand up and SHOW your presence .......... its NOW

Hope that made some sense if any

OK well... here is what I see--

Barack and Hillary would handily beat McCain and anybody. Of that, there is no doubt.

But then what? The presidency is just that. It's not a co-presidency. My question to any Hillary supporter is this; is she going to play her position or is she going to undermine him? Why is this a concern? Well, look at the way she ran her campaign. I don't care what any of you say, she acted like a Republican from Super Tuesday all the way to last Saturday, and to be frank she left a bad taste in my mouth.

How in the world is Obama supposed to trust her? How is he supposed to run this country, bring us back from the brink of ruination that the Bush administration has brought us to and watch his back for whatever she might be doing in the next room?

Sure, she's got experience-- like that time she was in Bosnia dodging bullets and-- oh wait-- that didn't happen, did it? Sorry--

OK, I will admit she has SOME experience. But she clearly wasn't looking over Bill's shoulder the whole time, right Monica?

And let's face it-- most people in this country do not know the issues. They figure out who they like based on soundbytes and headlines. Bush got elected because people felt like they could go out and have a beer with him. The same is true with many (I didn't say all so calm down) of the people who voted for Hillary. She's a brand name! Something that worked once so people are wiling to go back to it like a favorite laundry detergent. In short, she came this close to winning mostly because of the fine condition Bill left us in before we (not us, but you know what I mean) elected Ali Bush and the 40 thieves.

Here is what I'd like to see-- put Hillary on the Supreme Court, since she wants a job so bad. She can protect reproductive rights until she dies and make sure that any universal healthcare legislation that Obama remains unchallenged from a judiciary standpoint.

Also, give Bill's horny ass an ambassadorship. That way, he can repair our diplomatic status abroad and at the same time have all the threesomes with Filipino hookers he wants without embarrassing anybody.

Also, since we as a country were silly enough to drive Al Gore (the only person I would have sided with over Obama) out of politics, I would have to say MY pick for Vice President is Wesley Clark.

Of course, I'm sure you all have your favorites...

You know I was thinking the exact same thing about Al Gore, except, he shot himself in the foot by distancing himself from Clinton despite the scandal.

I also have the same feeling about Hillary. She left an awful taste in my mouth, showed her true feelings about race and her sense of entitlement...BUT if she is smart, she will do whatever it takes to support him if he asks her to. She lost because SHE pulled out the race card, SHE forgot (as I said before) who kept her husband in office. Dare she underestimate the black vote again?

Truth be told, it wasn't even the black vote that put Barack Obama over, it was the vote of the educated white conservative male along with the black vote (either way). Her popularity boomed with other voters like those from West Virginia.

If she's smart, she'll support him. She'd better watch his back because 1) it's the only way to keep her party in office and 2) it's the only chance she has of recovering from her bad politicking. Now, there's no rule that she'll automatically clinch the Democratic nomination just because she would be Vice-President. She would still have to show and prove. Maybe by then, we'll have another great Democratic candidate that will beat her. Maybe Al Gore will dust off his boots or John Kerry might broaden his perspective.

just more thoughts....

TOO TRUE, having done a little research, its looks like the Obama/Clinton ticket is the only way to go, .... especially considering what MYSTY has said. Looks like Dre might have to support the cause if it keeps going this way (love your show by the way Mr. Parker). Good luck for Obama, ...... this could be history making ....... now ..... I really couldn't see him picking anyone besides Hillary (Bill baggage and all) simply because of the votes she has garnered.

He better get a taste tester if he does...

Well, what a surprisingly interesting twist. Al Gore has announced his support of Barack Obama. I quote:

"A few hours from now I will step on stage in Detroit, Michigan to announce my support for Senator Barack Obama. From now through Election Day, I intend to do whatever I can to make sure he is elected President of the United States.
Over the next four years, we are going to face many difficult challenges -- including bringing our troops home from Iraq, fixing our economy, and solving the climate crisis. Barack Obama is clearly the candidate best able to solve these problems and bring change to America."

Well all I can say are a few things

1) I'm glad that many states, (I guess NY doesn't) don't allow you to switch parties after you vote in the primaries. (I thought that was a Federal thing)

2) Clearly she's senile, and racist. It looks like she stumbled into the wrong place. Whoa...intelligent lady.

3) I thought she was going to start talking about Senator Obama's mother when she said he wouldn't be running if it weren't for a white woman!!! ROFL!!! If she can find the right polling place...she's welcome to her vote.

I suppose that's why it's up to every person to get out there and make your vote count. For every dummy like that, there is an educated person who is tired of old, white, elitist B.S. I say....bring it on.
